Consults at Bluff Road Psychology on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
As a psychologist of 13 years, Paige is a strong believer that no one is immune from developing mental health issues given the “right” set of circumstances. She knows how easy it can be for all of us to fall into the trap of talking to ourselves in pretty crappy, self defeating ways and how these stories can often be traced back to our childhood. While we often didn’t consciously write these stories ourselves, we are 100% responsible for changing them now so we can get out of our own way and live a life we love.
Paige commonly works with people who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress and unresolved trauma, who are having difficulty in their relationships, socially, with parenting, and at work. Her clients have often tried to ‘push through’ on their own but have reached a point where they know they need to do something different in order to get different results. Paige loves collaborating her client to clarify their goals and design a concrete way forward. Paige uses a variety of approaches based on the individual needs of her client, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Psychodynamic principles. She works with a variety of clients including parents, business owners, elite soldiers and veterans, athletes, emergency services personnel, and health care professionals.
Paige is warm, experienced, curious, and genuinely loves helping people get unstuck.
