Victoria is a registered Psychologist who has experience with children, adolescence and young adults across both school and private practice settings. She enjoys working collaboratively with the individual’s family or school to ensure that the strategies used in session are practiced across diverse settings.
Victoria has experience in assessing children for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disorders. She thoroughly enjoys building a strong therapeutic relationship with individuals presenting with anxiety, low mood, behavioural problems and both academic and social difficulties related to adolescence or young adulthood. Victoria focuses on understanding the client’s values and providing a non-judgemental and safe environment for clients. Victoria will adjust her approach to suit individual needs and tailor her sessions to the interests of her clients.
She uses a variety of treatment models individually tailored to each client including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
