Myra is a Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Psychology registrar. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society College of Counselling Psychologists, with her post-graduate training completed at Monash University.
Myra provides psychotherapy and assessment to both children and adults. With over 15 years of experience spanning various settings, including clinical, educational, and private domains, Myra adopts a friendly and pragmatic approach to therapy. She values the uniqueness of each client, tailoring treatments to address a wide range of emotional and developmental concerns across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and young adults.
Drawing on her expertise in child development, neuroscience, and emotion regulation, Myra integrates diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, Play Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her goal is to empower young individuals to gain insight into their inner world, foster resilience, and enhance communication skills.
Recognising the significance of collaboration, Myra closely engages with parents, carers, and schools to ensure optimal outcomes for her clients.
