He draws on a range of evidence-based treatments, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-E), and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). His approach is flexible and tailored to each person's individual circumstances and goals.
He supports people experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, personality vulnerabilities and longstanding patterns that may be impacting their wellbeing. Ted also has extensive experience working in residential eating disorder treatment settings and is passionate about helping people recover from an eating disorder.
Ted believes that meaningful change begins with understanding both current difficulties and the experiences that have shaped them. He works alongside clients to develop insight, build on existing strengths, and create lasting change. With a strong focus on fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, Ted provides a non-judgemental space where clients can explore challenges openly and work towards a more fulfilling and valued life.
When not with his clients, Ted loves spending time with his wife and two young children.
